The Alberta Chess Association assists clubs around the province in many ways.
If you would like funding or equipment to start a new club, we prefer to receive a request in time for our annual budget meeting, which is held between November and January for the following year. Please keep a look out on the main page for information regarding upcoming meetings, or contact us for more information. You are welcome to inquire at other times to see what the ACA has available.
To be eligible for equipment provisions, groups must have at least one designated ACA member. Membership can be acquired through various member clubs or through the Chess Federation of Canada, and should be turned in at least once a year.
