2024 Northern Alberta Open
The Northern Alberta Open takes place February 17-18 at the Edmonton Chess Club. Registration is open, and info can be found here.
2024 Edmonton & Calgary Youth Championships
The Edmonton Youth Regional is February 10th and the Calgary Youth Regional is February 11th. Registration is open for both events, which lead into the Alberta Youth Championship April 27-28 in Edmonton.
2024 Calgary International Results
The Calgary International and Reserves wrapped up on Saturday. Finishing on top were the favourites, GM Gomez Garrido in first place with 7.5/9 and GM Dimitri Komarov in second with 6.5/9. Congratulations to both.
In the Reserves section, James Botoy was victorious with a 4.5/5 score. Congratulations as well.

The Calgary International takes place December 26-30. Currently, GMs Camilo Ernesto Gomez Garrido and Dimitri Komarov are the top seeds. Details on the main event can be viewed here.
The Reserves section, up to 20 players, will also be happening December 28-30. Details on the Reserves can be found here.
