The Calgary Junior chess club decided to change dates of the youth events.  Calgary Chess Challenge moved to Feb 12 and Calgary Youth to March 19. The 2022 schedule has now been updated.

The Calgary Chess Club will host the 2021 Alberta Women’s and Senior’s (Frank Kluytmans Memorial) Championship. 1st prize in both tournaments entitles you to a $500 travel grant to the Senior/Women’s Canadian Championship in addition to the prize money.
