The Road Warrior program is designed to encourage travel around the province for different ACA chess tournaments. The program has undergone multiple format changes over the years.
The format for the 2019 competition will be the same as 2018, with the exception of lowered prizes.
One point will be given to any player who travels at least 75 KM to an event. At the end of the year, prizes will be awarded based on the following principles.
Highest number of points: $200
Second highest: $100
The points will be awarded for open-to-all ACA sponsored events starting from January 1, 2019 and ending on December 31, 2019.
