Format: 6-player round robins. No byes allowed. CFC rated; the top three sections will also be FIDE rated.
Time control: 40 moves in 90 minutes, then game in 30 minutes with a 30 second increment from move 1.

Schedule
Round 1: Friday, October 27: 7:00 p.m.
Round 2: Saturday, October 28: 10:00 a.m.
Round 3: Saturday, October 28: 4:00 p.m.
Round 4: Sunday, October 29: 10:00 a.m.
Round 5: Sunday, October 29: 4:00 p.m.

Entry fee: $40 if pre-registered by 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26th. $50 after.
$15 discount for juniors (2003 birth year or later), seniors (age 65 and over), and female players. GM/IM title holders receive free entry.

CFC membership is required and may be purchased on-site. Annual membership is $43 for adults, $28 for juniors. CFC tournament membership is $20 for adults, $10 for juniors.

Registration: Contact the organizer or fill out the form below. Payment will be made in cash on-site, between 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. on Friday, October 27th. Players who do not arrive by 6:45 p.m. may not be paired.
Prizes: Entry fees less ACA dues of $10 per paid participant.

Section formation: Players will be slotted into sections according to their rating. For Section A, CFC ratings published on October 27th and FIDE ratings published on October 1st will be used. For all other sections, only CFC ratings published on October 27th will be used. Unrated players will be assigned a rating of 1500 for sectioning purposes, unless the organizer decides otherwise.

All sections will have 6 players, except possibly the lowest-rated section. If there are 4 players in the bottom section, then it will be a double-round-robin. If there are 5 players, it will be a round-robin with one bye. If there are 7, 8, or 9 in the bottom Section, then there will be Swiss pairings.

Pairings will be done the night of October 27th.
