2020 BC vs Alberta Match
and Vernon Open

Location: Best Western Pacific Inn, 4790 34th Street Vernon, BC
Type: 5 round Swiss. Up to 20 players on each team (by invitation).
Separate Open event open to all. Both events FIDE/CFC rated
Prizes: Trophies and Guaranteed $3,000 cash prizes
Entry Fee: $70 on or before 2 Jun, then $80 on or before 1 Jul, $90 on site up to 5pm on 3 Jul.
Free entry for GM/IM/WGM. Family discount $20 for 2 nd and higher family entries.
Time Control: Game/90+30 sec. increment
5 Rounds: Fri 6pm, Sat 10am and 3pm, Sun 10am and 3pm
Accommodation: Best Western 250-558-1800. $149/night; free parking, and internet. Mention
chess tournament when booking.
