Format
CFC/FIDE rated 5 round Swiss. Two sections: Over 1800 and Under 1800. CFC Membership is required, and it can be purchased on-site. Annual membership is $43 for adults, $28 for juniors. CFC tournament membership is $21 for adults, $11 for juniors.
Snacks will be provided.

30 minute breaks are guaranteed for participants whose games finish late.
Time Control
G/90 plus 30 seconds/move increment
Entry fee
$35 if pre-registered online by noon, Friday, August 16. $40 after. Free for GM/IM/FM. To pre-register, please visit the Calgary Chess Club’s website and register there. Payment will be made on-site by cash. Pre-registered players must come by 9:45 am on Saturday, or they won’t be paired.
Prizes
Sum of all entries minus ACA dues of $5 per paid player.
Byes
Up to two half point byes for rounds 1-4. If requested prior to the start of the tournament.
